Thankful for Valentines Day

rainbow chard love

Valentine’s Day isn’t just about roses and chocolate (although I do like chocolate…). I like to take the time to think about what I’m thankful for, who I love, and all of the special relationships I’m fortunate to have.

I’m thankful for this bit of space on the interweb to experiment and share my thoughts; I’m thankful for readers; I’m thankful that I can always try again; and I’m thankful for a food revolution where it’s possible to get astoundingly fresh rainbow chard in the middle of a New England winter (thank you Enterprise Farm).

I hope you’ve taken a moment today to let your loved ones know just how much you appreciate them.

Arnold Arboretum snow

I am lucky to live near the Arnold Arboretum.  The recent snowstorm turned it into a winter wonderland.

Sometimes it’s good to pause from the busy routine of life and take a moment to reflect on what is right in front of you.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
